T. Metin Önerci is a Professor and Head of the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He holds important positions in a range of medical societies, including general secretary of the International Rhinologic Society, and chairperson of the Rhinology and Allergy, Sleep, and Facial Plastic Surgery Committees of the International Federation of Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Societies. He is an honorary member of several societies and serves on the editorial boards of various journals, including Laryngoscope and European Archives of Otorhinolaryngology and is the editor of the European Journal of Rhinology and Allergy. Dr. Önerci has authored more than 200 papers in national and international journals, and numerous book chapters, and is also the author or editor of 20 books in Turkish and four in English.
Özlem Önerci Celebi, MD is an Associate Professor at the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department, Istanbul Education and Research Hospital, Istanbul Turkey. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and is an ECFMG certified physician. She has authored more than 30 papers in national and international journals, and is the author of 5 book chapters. She is a reviewer for several journals and has been a moderator, panelist and speaker at several national and international congresses.
