Richard M. Weiss is William Walker Professor of Mathematics at Tufts University. He is the author of
The Structure of Spherical Buildings (Princeton) and the coauthor (with Jacques Tits) of
Moufang Polygons. He received a Humboldt Research Prize in 2004.
