Neerja Sharma is Reader at the Department of Human Development and Childhood Studies, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. She obtained her Ph.D. and earlier degrees at the same institution, and has continued to teach, research and publish in the areas of childhood disability, adolescence, education and research methods. Apart from publishing several research papers and book chapters, she has authored three books: Understanding Adolescence, Identity of the Adolescent Girl and Evaluating Children in Primary Education. She is an advisor to Rajkumari Amrit Kaur (RAK) Child Study Centre (ECCE), Pratham (elementary education), Snehi (mental health), Karuna Vihar (disability) and Springdales School (inclusion).
