Scott A. Kirkland earned a Ph D in theology from the University of Newcastle in Australia. He is an honorary postdoctoral research associate at the University of Divinity, Melbourne. He is coeditor of the volume Correlating Sobornost: Conversations between Karl Barth and the Russian Orthodox Tradition (Fortress Press, 2016).
