This disparate collection of poems will take the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride.
You will experience highs, lows, love, laughter, tears and arrive at the end with either a sense of "I know just where she's coming from, " or "What on earth was that all about?"

Blod (as she prefers to be called) has a number of achievements under her belt which you may find interesting or boring!
She left school with no qualifications having made an attempt to leave the planet.
She has used the University of Life to her advantage where possible.
She eloped to Scotland and married at 17! Had her daughter exactly 8 months later and her son 15 months and a few days after that!
She spent many years as a single parent, trying to deal with everything under the influence of ‘Mother’s little helper’ – valium. What she really needed was some ‘Trauma Therapy’.
She moved to London in 1980 with her 2 children, to live with longish term relationship number 3 of 5! (She is currently available for any interesting offers!)
She has a diploma in Counselling and Supervision, which she feels has helped her in many ways – although she can’t find it at present!
Being sectioned 4 times was NOT on her bucket list, but it turned out to be the making of her.
She has a lot to thank SLa M (South London and Maudsley) for, especially in recent years. Having involvement with them through courses at the Recovery College and being on the Involvement Register, has helped her to re-invent herself as an ‘EXPERT BY EXPERIENCE AND WORDSMITH.’
‘Crime for drugs or drugs for crime?’ was the first poem she kept.
It was written in 1993.
