This story, my story, should never have happened. But it did, so I’m sharing it with you now. My mum got sick and sent me to stay with my archaeologist father in Egypt. I broke a 3, 000-year-old statue of Anubis, God of the Underworld, that woke him up, yeah, not good. Then a mega sandstorm spun me and my friend Manar back in time. I mean way back in time, like 3, 000 years back in time to Ancient Egypt!
We got caught up in a war, had to outsmart an assault of angry gods, and figure out if we could get back home. Like I said, it should never have happened. But I’d really like you to join me on my adventures. Spell 30 Book of the Dead.

With a passion for travel, I left Australia and journeyed across America, wound my way around Europe and spent many years driving a truck across Africa. Egypt has always called to me, so I ended my travels there and set up a business that afforded me the time to explore the history of this remarkable country. Although I write fictional stories for young people, I weave my authentic experiences and historical knowledge into these tales with the hope I share some of this enjoyment with my readers.
