Arthur Mc Gurn is Professor Emeritus of Physics at Western Michigan University. He received his Ph D from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1975, working in theoretical condensed matter physics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, the American Physical Society, the Electromagnetics Academy, and the Optical Society of America, and is an Outstanding Referee of the American Physical Society. He has over 150 research publications.
