Cindy Hale is a thirty-year hunter/jumper veteran, teacher of young horses and a winner of ‘A Circuit’ National Championships. Cindy writes for Horses USA, California Thoroughbred, the Los Angeles Times, and various websites.Cindy Hale is a lifelong horsewoman. She has competed at horse shows in a variety of disciplines and is a thirty-year hunter/jumper veteran. Her favorite pastime is riding her American Paint horse, Wally, on the trails. A former schoolteacher, Cindy has turned her love of all things horse into a second career as a regular feature writer with Horse Illustrated magazine, for which she won a Pegasus Award in 2005 from the United States Equestrian Federation.
