D. K. Smith is a graduate of Yale and the Iowa Writers” Workshop. He is the author of two previous novels, Nothing Disappears and Missing Persons, and teaches Medieval and Renaissance literature at Kansas State University. He and his wife divide their time between the American heartland and their island in Canada.
