The book starts with basic training advice, physical preparation exercises and how to take a fall safely before moving on to providing clear diagrams and brief explanations for the essential basic techniques of striking, joint locks, throws, choking and self-defence. The second half of the guide then gives detailed descriptions of Kata (practice forms) for:

- Kuki Shinden Ryū Dakentaijutsu

Yazar hakkında
Duncan Mitchell has trained in Bujinkan Dōjō Budō Taijutsu for over three decades and has been an instructor since 1995. Duncan lived and trained in Japan from 1990 to 1995, where he studied directly under the grand- master Masaaki Hatsumi-sensei and senior Bujinkan instructor Isamu Shiraishi-sensei. He continues to return to Japan yearly to further his study in the martial arts of Japan.
