The novel was chosen by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present. Although, it almost remained unpublished due to its savage attack on Stalin, Britain’s then ally and got turned down by publisher after publisher, today it’s known to be one of Orwell’s best works and a world-famous classic.
The animals on Mr. Jones’ farm revolt against their human masters and violently expel them. Led by the pigs they decide to run the farm themselves on egalitarian principles.
