The dedication reads, ‘To ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL Who has taught the deaf to speak and enabled the listening ear to hear speech from the Atlantic to the Rockies, I dedicate this Story of My Life.’ Included in this publication are also ‘Her Letters’ (1887-1901) and ‘A Supplementary Account of Her Education’, including passages from the reports and letters of her teacher, Anne Mansfield Sullivan.
