Yazar: Hermans Jo Hermans

Prof. LJF (Jo) Hermans is an emeritus professor of Physics at Leiden University. His postdoctoral fellowship was at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). At Leiden he was the first winner of the Faculty-wide teaching award for Physics, and he has published over 130 papers in refereed journals. He serverd as vice-dean of the Science Faculty at Leiden University, and was Science Editor of Europhysics News. He is much involved in outreach, providing insights into science for the general public. He was appointed Knight of the Order of Oranje-Nassau by Queen Beatrix in 2010.
