Joseph Victor Michalowicz, Ph.D., is a scientist, historian, and lifelong baseball fan who earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Catholic University of America and enjoyed a long career at the Naval Research Laboratory. He has written research articles and papers, and co-authored a handbook. Dr. Michalowicz’s own collection features over one hundred baseballs caught at major league games and a bat once used by Willie Stargell.
