Kirsten Kaschock is the author of two previous books of poetry: Unfathoms and A Beautiful Name for a Girl. She is also the author of a novel, Sleight, and the chapbook Window Boxing. Kaschock teaches at Drexel University and lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
