Reagan started writing when he was eleven, and Madison started writing when she was only seven. They wrote a comic about a boy with Leukemia. Reagan, now thirteen, is in the eighth grade. Madison, age nine, is in the fourth grade. They live in Louisville, Kentucky. They have decided to write this book, entitled, “Flower: A Girl With Leukemia, ” a realistic fiction. Reagan and Madison Roy are the recipients of the Store-Level Winner of the Kohl’s Kids Who care Scholarship Program. Reagan received the award in 2009, and Madison received the award in 2011. Kohl’s award is given in recognition of outstanding volunteer efforts and contributions within the community.
