Yazar: Raymond Wong

Raymond M. Wong is grateful to live in San Diego with his wife, Quyen, and two children, Kevin and Kristie. He has served as an assistant editor of creative nonfiction on Lunch Ticket, Antioch University LA’s literary journal. In addition to his MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch, he holds the Master of Science degree in Counseling from San Diego State University. He works as a counselor at San Diego City College and volunteers with his children to deliver meals to homebound elderly through Meals on Wheels in El Cajon. Wong knows the pain and emptiness of being an outsider, and he does workshops and speaking engagements in the community to share his experience, to reach out and connect with others who feel alone and alienated. He found acceptance, forgiveness, and a sense of purpose through writing. I’m Not Chinese: The Journey from Resentment to Reverence is his first full-length book, and he is currently writing another book about the father he never knew.
