In this small but significant volume, Samuel Escobar reflects on his pilgrimage in mission from a Peruvian Baptist perspective and presents pen-portraits of personalities who embody the life and inheritance of Baptist mission in different parts of the world. Reflecting on his experience as a young person in a new denomination, begun in the early twentieth century by foreign missionaries, and then as an international mission worker himself, he draws lessons for mission practice and theology which are valuable for mission practitioners in all denominations today.
