Sonali Das is an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Department of English at Bhadrak Autonomous College, Odisha, India, where she teaches English literature, language, research methodology, criticism, business communication and soft skills. She recently received the D.K. Ray Award for Best Young Researcher given by The Researchers” Association of Odisha for 2016. She received an MPhil from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, India, and a doctorate from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Her areas of interest are Indian English literature, culture and film studies, and she has authored thirty research papers. Das previously worked as a Sub-Editor at Icfai University Press, Hyderabad, India, and as an Assistant Professor of English at Synergy Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, India.
