Verena von Koskull, geboren 1970, studierte Italienisch und Englisch sowie Kunstgeschichte in Berlin und Bologna. Nach Stationen in verschiedenen Verlagen arbeitet sie seit 2002 als freie Übersetzerin. Für ihre Übersetzungen aus dem Italienischen wurde sie unter anderem mit dem Deutsch-Italienischen Übersetzerpreis und dem Jane Scatcherd-Preis ausgezeichnet.
