This book is devoted to the First World War in the Eastern Front. At the beginning, the books discusses the historical origin of conflict between the two groups before the First World War; then it details the process of the assassination of the crown prince of Austria and this incident as the fuse of war; details the process of Austria”s declaration of war on Serbia, and the subsequent declaration of war between the two groups and the war in the Eastern Front. Russia”s march into East Prussia eased the pressure on France and Britain from the Western Front, and the Russian army won the initial victory. However, the situation changed after the German army changed its commander-in-chief, and Hindenburg and Ludendorff took over the command of the eastern line.
