Wolfram Fleischhauer studierte vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft in Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien und den USA. Er ist der Autor von Erfolgsromanen wie Drei Minuten mit der Wirklichkeit, Das Meer und Die Purpurlinie und arbeitet inzwischen auch erfolgreich als Drehbuchautor und Produzent von Kinofilmen wie Fikkefuchs (2017) und seiner ersten Romanverfilmung Schweigend steht der Wald (2022).
Als einer der ersten Autoren im deutschsprachigen Raum, der relevante zeitgenössische oder historische Stoff emotional und intellektuell mitreißend zu gestalten und zu erzählen verstand, stießen Wolfram Fleischhauers Bücher und Filme auch international auf große Resonanz. Die Verfilmung von Schweigend steht der Wald wurde in über 14 Länder verkauft, Romane wie Die Purpurlinie oder Drei Minuten mit der Wirklichkeit in über zwanzig Sprachen übersetzt. Derzeit arbeitet Wolfram Fleischhauer sowohl an weiteren Romanprojekten als auch an der Entwicklung von weiteren Film- und Serienstoffen.
