Deniz Ortaçtepe completed her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the State University of New York – Albany. She is currently teaching and advising research in the MA TEFL program at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. Her research interests lie in the fields of language socialization, applied linguistics, sociolinguistics and pragmatics.
