Prof. Dr. Dietmar Braun ist Professor emeritus in der Politikwissenschaft und lehrte von 1996 bis 2016 am Institut d’Etudes Politiques der Universität Lausanne (Schweiz) Politische Theorie und Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft. Seine bisherigen Veröffentlichungen beschäftigen sich vor allem mit den Theorien rationaler Wahlhandlungen, der Rolle politischer Ideen, Diffusionsfragen, Forschungs- und Hochschulpolitik und föderalistischen Themen.
