The first edition of Green’s Silent Revolution, published in 1995, described the imposition of neoliberal economic models in Latin America, the role of the IMF and World Bank in enforcing them, and their consequences. Duncan Green is Head of Research at Oxfam. He has worked as a teacher, journalist, and researcher throughout Latin America. He is the author of many books; his most recent one is From Poverty to Power. Duncan lives in Brixton, South London, with his wife, two children and two cats.
