This book offers new approaches and insights into the relationships between heritage tourism and notions of modernity, identity building and sustainable development in China. Hongliang Yan is a Senior Lecturer in International Tourism Management, Coventry University, UK. His research interests include sustainable tourism, heritage tourism and tourism mobilities. He has published widely and his work has appeared in leading international peer-reviewed journals and books.
