Her research interests focus on medieval Iberia, Jewish-Christian-Muslim relations in the medieval Mediterranean, commerce, and comparative legal history. Her current research concerns the trade of captives across religious boundaries between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries in the Mediterranean.
