Про автора

Lewis Melville (1874–1932), born Lewis S. Benjamin in London, was educated privately. He began a career as an actor, but at the same time pursued writing. He is the author of a number of books, including The Life of William Makepeace Thackeray and Victorian Novelists, among others.
