This work addresses the reactive features of boron and the formation of special structures before examining the fundamental chemistry behind Boron-organo-silicone oxide polymers along with the effects of additives during synthesis. Finally, boron-silica compounds with and without magnetic content are characterized using various methods. Based on the resulting properties, interesting potential applications are discussed.
