Through the Tears was written through out the years. I have a large collection of poems I have written throughout the years.My son, Michael Delaney Donovan was killed in a traffic accident on Jan 12, 2003, the loss of Michael devastated our family so. He had just celebrated his 30th birthday on December 18, 2002. My son was an incredible person. He lived his life to the fullest. He was robust and loving. He had a heart warming smile and a great personality. He was such a beautiful gift and tolose him turned our whole world upside down. It was a few months later that my husband (Santa) and i decided to try to make something positive come out of the loss of such an energetic, funloving, and beautiful person. it is my sincere hope that people reading my books of poetry gain a sense of faith, and hope and realization that everything is for a reason. although i know i will never see that smiling face again i can still thank God for letting me have him to begin with. i can also be thankful for 30 beautiful years. i am so appreciative that i was the one blessed enough to have Michael in her life.
