Marjorie Weber Fortney grew up in Manitoba, Canada, immersed in farm life and outdoor adventures. During her 38-year career in Christian education, she served as a teacher, principal, and education director and was recognized with several teaching and leadership awards. Marjorie earned a B.Ed. from Union College and an MA in leadership and administration from La Sierra University. Now retired, Marjorie enjoys writing, playing piano, and gardening. She also cherishes time spent with family: her husband, Mike; their son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Hollie; and granddaughters, Makayla and Brielle.
