Born in a blizzard, Les Leong is adopted into a Chinese-Australian family. Matthew Higgins has skied and bushwalked in the Australian high country since he first visited Kiandra as a kid. He is an award-winning historian and short-film-maker who during the past thirty years has worked with many of Australia’s leading national cultural institutions in Canberra.
