Xavier lives in a world where the power to wield magic-and countless other inhuman abilities-is simply a fact of life. As events unfold, X is sent to live at Sage Mountain to gain control of his unique mix of mutant and magical powers. There he faces constant challenges to battle others who are learning to harness their own powers and skills. In the shadows, alliances are formed anew while ancient cults reach bony hands out of the shadows, and multitudes of people intimidated by Xavier’s potential seek to guarantee his destruction. While X learns to control and develop his powers, he discovers devastating secrets about the world and himself that change everything.
