Dr. O. P. Nautiyal is currently consulting scientist to pharmaceutical and natural extraction companies. Dr. Nautiyal earned his Ph D in Organic chemistry and also hold expertise in the area of supercritical carbon dioxide extraction technology from Institute of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Matunga, and Mumbai and has more than 20 years of industry experience in research and development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, natural extracts, chemicals, castor oil etc. He also has three years of academic experience as Professor & Head with Lovely Professional University and Sardar Patel University. He has authored more than 35 research articles in peer reviewed journals, 2 books, 7 chapters in international books and 4 patents. He has 9 international conferences to his credit. He is an international reviewer with ACS, Elsevier, Dove Medical Press, EC chemistry. In the year 2013-14 he was appointed Professor of Organic chemistry (Heterocyclic) in Haramaya University, Ethiopia. He got his biography published twice in Marquis Who”s who USA. He is an editorial board member with EC Chemistry Glasgow UK. He was also an invited key note speaker in international seminar on alternative medicines. He held membership of American Chemical Society. He is life alumni member of ICT (UDCT). In the very recent he is recognized and considered for the nomination of International Biographic Centre Cambridge England member and among the Top 100 scientists. He has pursued for CSci and FRSC with Royal Chemical Society. His research interests includes organic synthesis, semi synthesis, extraction, isolation and purification, catalytic hydrogenation, process development, hydro colloids, side chain synthesis, coupling reactions, supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. He has significant research contribution in the area of active pharmaceutical ingredients, synthesis, hydro colloids, deproteination, thiocolchicoside, colchicoside, meth-scopolamine nitrate, and hyoscine butylbromide, and 10-DAB, Taxol and biotransformation. He has also delivered a lecture on Aromatherapy in Canara Bank under their study circle in Thane Mumbai.
