Edgar Rice Burroughs (September 1, 1875 – March 19, 1950) was an American speculative fiction writer, best known for his prolific output in the adventure, science fiction and fantasy genres.
Ernest Haycox (October 1, 1899 – October 13, 1950) was an American author of Western fiction. He published two dozen novels and about 300 short stories, many of which appeared first in pulp magazines in the early 1920s.
William Mac Leod Raine (June 22, 1871 – July 25, 1954), was a British-born American novelist who wrote fictional adventure stories about the American Old West.
Rex Ellingwood Beach (September 1, 1877 – December 7, 1949) was an American novelist, playwright, and Olympic water polo player. His adventure novels, influenced by Jack London, were immensely popular throughout the early 1900s.
