Stanley Crawford, geboren 1937, ist ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller. Nach seinem Studium an der Universität von Chicago sowie an der Sorbonne in Paris zog er 1969 zusammen mit seiner Frau nach Dixon (New Mexico), wo sie sich aus Lehmziegeln ein Haus bauten und wenig später anfingen, Knoblauch anzubauen. Für seine schriftstellerische Tätigkeit erhielt er in den USA diverse Auszeichnungen.
