The world is a scary place. Many people live day-to-day in fear. Anxiety may
originate from several different sources. Financial worries, job insecurity,

enough to drive anyone to despair. While we may face such dreadful experiences,
our Creator does not want us to live this way.

of each one of those promises. Study His promises to Abraham and the Hebrew
slaves in Egypt. Learn about the promises to the children of Israel He made
through His prophets. God sent the promised Messiah through Jesus Christ to pay
for the sins of all mankind. Throughout the New Testament, the promises of God
were fulfilled and promises yet to come assured. God’s faithfulness is confirmed
as He delivers hope for the promises yet to come.
Poems of Promise is a daily devotional based on God’s Word. The messages from
His Word are sure, positive promises for a troubled and weary world. Each day’s
devotion is intended to be a reprieve from the troubles of this world by focusing
on hope through inspiration. Read a devotion each day knowing that God is above
all things, that He only wants the best for you, and that He loves you very much.
I pray that this devotional serves you well. The simplistic poetic form is designed to
stimulate emotion, while offering a somewhat different and creative presentation
