Dr Vishal Sharma is an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He joined the institute after his initial medical training at the University college of Medical Sciences, Delhi. His research interests are in the field of Inflammatory bowel diseases and Gastrointestinal Tuberculosis. He has authored more than 325 peer reviewed papers and serves on editorial board of many journals.
