Dr. Ram Pratap Singh is currently working as Head, Department of Botany, Goverment P. G. College, Morena (MP). Earlier, he served as lecturer in Department of Botany, Institute of Basic Sciences, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (UP). He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from School of Studies in Botany, Jiwaji University, Gwalior (MP). He has been awarded NETJRF by (UGCCSIR) in 2001. He has been teaching basic and advance Botany including Plant Taxonomy, Biotechnology and Plant Physiology at undergraduate and post graduate level for past fourteen years. Besides teaching he is actively engaged in research activities. He is life member of Indian Botanical Society and Indian Science Congress Association & Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy. He has published edited/written five books more than 14 research papers in National and international Journals. He has attended and organized several National Seminars. He has also visited in Sri Lanka and presented a research paper in World Biodiversity Congress2014, Colombo.
