This story was originally written after praying for a unique Easter Program for a small country church outreach. Jesus used parables a lot to explain things when He walked on the earth, and this parable explains what Easter is all about on a child’s level. This story explains sin, separation from God, and why the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus are so important. It will explain why Jesus is the Key to Easter. The need for a book like this is so relevant in our world today with so many bunnies, eggs, and chicks being the only representation of Easter to our children. If statistics are correct, not a lot of children are attending church in our world right now, and it is hoped that this book will reach a generation of children that will fall in love with Jesus and receive Him into their heart.
About the author
Vanessa has taught Children’s Church for over thirty years for ages five to fifteen in large church settings with over thirty five-year-olds in one class to small groups of fifteen or more children varying in age. She has raised two sons of her own and now has two granddaughters and two grandsons to enjoy. This book is a result of her love for children and a desire for every child to fall in love with Jesus. Her prayer is that you will fall in love with Him also as you read through the pages with your child.
