He has published extensively on the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes and the philosophy of language. He is the author of A Hobbes Dictionary and Hobbes’s Political Philosophy, and the co-editor of A Companion to Analytic Philosophy and Analytic Philosophy: An Anthology.
