Angélique Jamail”s poetry and essays have appeared in over two dozen anthologies and journals, including New Reader Magazine, Waxwing, Time-Slice, Improbable Worlds, The Milk of Female Kindness, Untameable City, Femmeliterate, and The Enchantment of the Ordinary. Her short story “Mother” (Spider Road Press, 2019) was nominated for Best Small Fictions. Her books include Finis., The Sharp Edges of Water, and (soon) Homecoming. She graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in Creative Writing and English and now teaches both.
