This text addresses the relation between feeling and knowing and investigates whether or not the heart has its own way of cognition and critique. Anthony J. Steinbock is an American philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at Stony Brook University, New York. He is the Director there of the Phenomenology Research Center, Editor-in-Chief of the Continental Philosophy Review and General Editor of the Series, Studies in Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy with Northwestern University Press.
