I, Barbara D. Hendricks, am a writer and the owner of Broader Horizons Childcare & Development Inc. I have owned my own daycare and fostered children for twenty years and counting. I wanted to create a whole new children’s story series that I could read to my newest grandchildren. When they were born, God spoke to me and told me to write a children’s book series. I felt as if I have a new, transformed life. I thought, “What if I could write a whole new book series and read to them?” This children’s book series is important to me because it reminds me of how much I love to teach children. In my spare time, I help educate families on how to restore their credit. I, Denise A. L. Hendricks, am a writer and a stay-at-home mom of three. I love reading books and writing even more. I am a lifetime Girl Scout and have earned my Gold Award. I love children and helping children learn and grow with knowledge. When the opportunity came for me to coauthor a children’s book series, I couldn’t say no. I am very grateful for this experience and truly blessed to be able to teach children through this book series.
