Maria Chaudhuriwas born in Bangladesh and lived there till the end of her high school years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts after which she moved to New York for work, while studying Screenwriting and Feature Writing at New York University. In 2009, Chaudhuri received an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, Vermont. Maria Chaudhuri”s essays, features and short stories have been published in various collections, journals and literary magazines. She lives in Hong Kong.
