His research expertise covers classical ichnology, ichnostratigraphy, Quaternary ichnology, environmental ichnology and applied ichnology. His research contributions incorporate several sensational discoveries, conceptual breakthroughs, promotion of fundamental principles and novel applications of ichnological tools for the benefit of mankind.
