D. A. Carson is Research Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois, USA and president of The Gospel Coalition. He has written or edited more than fifty books, including The Gagging of God: Christianity Confronts Pluralism, Christ and Culture Revisited, The Intolerance of Tolerance and New Testament Commentary Survey.
