Mr Twiddle is an old man who is always doing something silly. He loses everything, he puts the fireworks on the fire by mistake, he tries to read the herrings and feed the newspapers to the cat, forgets the dog and takes the lead for a walk, and try as he might, he can’t remember anything.

Mr Twiddle is a kind old man, who tries his best to be helpful, but only causes problems and trouble. Poor Mrs Twiddle is left to undo all his muddles.
