Marina Obradov is trained in radiology at University Medical Center, Sarajevo, Bosnia and VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam, The  Netherlands. She performed a part of her musculo-skeletal specialisation at the UCSD, California, USA  at the Department of D. Resnick and is ESSR certified musculo-skeletal radiologist. From 1997 she works as Head of the Department of Radiology and  dedicated musculoskeletal radiologist at Sint Maartenskliniek, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, hospital which is specialised in orthopaedics, rheumatology, rehabilitation and sport medicine.Whole this period she was closely associated with the development of Department of  Radiology and all aspects of musculo-skeletale radiology. From 2012 she is Head of the radiological musculo-skeletal education and fellowship in the same institution. She is co-initiator and  active member of the Intervention subcommittee of the ESSR and in the same time chef (co)organiser of the multiple, ESSR accredited, musculo-skeletale  courses and meetings dedicated to musculo-skeletale radiology, particularly US and interventions. Her special interest in addition to radiological intervention procedures lies in radiology of the elbow. She has written article and book chapter on this topic.    Jan L. Gielen receive medical and radiology education at  Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) Belgium. Muskuloskeletal radiology fellowship in the department of D. Resnick (UCSD, California) and B. Maldague (UCLouvain). Since October 2000 musculoskeletal radiologist at Antwerp University Hospital (UZA) with special interest in radiological imaging of sports lesions and MSK tumors. Ph D  since February  2004,   thesis  “Magnetic resonance imaging of soft tissue tumors”. Since October 2006 associate professor at Antwerp University (UA). “Believer” in multidisciplinary approach in radiology. Organisation of ESSR accredited cyclus hands-on courses musculoskeletal ultrasound since 2004 and MRI since 2007. Organisator of Yearly International Hands on course on US guided intervention since 2011, ESSR accredited. Initiator and first chair of the ESSR intervention subcommittee since 2014. Organisator STMS (Society for Tennis Medicine and Science) congress februari 2007 Antwerp and EFSMA 2015 congress. Past president and treasurer of the  “Flemish society of Sports Medicine” (VVS). Author and co-editor of a specialised book on sports radiology “Imaging in Orthopedic Sports Injuries” (2006 Springer Verlag), soft tissue tumors “Imaging of soft tissue tumors”  (4 editions Springer Verlag), Nuclear Medicine and Radiological Imaging in sports injuries (2015 Springer Verlag).
