Having graduated from Laval University (Québec) in literature and sociology, he completed his Ph D at Paris-X Nanterre. He speaks at numerous conferences and conventions around the world and has authored more than a hundred articles and critical reviews published in more than thirty countries. He often collaborates with specialized magazines in music and history.
